For local service businesses

Your work speaks for itself.Make sure people can find it.

I help local service businesses show up when someone nearby searches, and look worth calling when they do. Sometimes that means building a website. Often it means fixing what you already have.

A few website concepts I've put together for local service businesses. Take a look around any one of them.

About

Hi, I'm AJ.

I help honest local businesses get found online, the simple way.

Almost everyone looking for a plumber, a painter or a cleaner starts on their phone. If you don't come up, you don't get the call, and that has very little to do with how good your work is. There are usually two ways to fix it, and both have real downsides. Do it yourself and you're stitching together a Google listing, a website-builder subscription you pay for every month, and a domain you may not actually control. Hire an agency and you'll get pushed toward retainers, ad spend and monthly reports you never asked for, which gets overwhelming fast.

I built gobeefound to be the simpler, honest option. I set up the Google listing that puts you on the map, build the website that earns the call, or just whichever one you actually need. All of it registered in your business's name, so most of all, it's YOURS. Simple and honest, that's the whole idea, and those are exactly the businesses I want to help.

Who I work with

Where you are right now.

Most businesses I talk to are in one of these three spots. They do not need the same thing, and I would rather find out which one you are in before quoting anything.

Starting from zero

Nothing to find yet

No website, or a Google listing you have never logged into. Someone nearby is searching for what you do right now and finding somebody else. This is the most fixable version of the problem.

Something is off

Online, but the phone is quiet

You have a site and a listing and it does not seem to be doing anything. Usually there is a specific reason: pages Google never indexed, a listing missing half your services, a contact form nobody can find on a phone. It is worth knowing which one.

Room to grow

Getting found, and want more of it

Things are working and you would rather build on that than guess at it. This is where the real search work lives, and where I want to see your numbers before I recommend spending anything.

What I do

What I actually do.

Four things. Which of them you need depends on where you are, and that is a conversation, not a package.

Google Business Profile and map visibility

Claimed, verified, and filled out properly: your services, hours, photos and service area. For a local business this is where most searches actually end up, often before anyone reaches your website.

A website that earns the call

Clean, fast, and just as easy to use on a phone as on a laptop, with calling or messaging you the obvious next step. Built new, or fixed if you already have one.

Local search visibility

Making sure Google can find, read and index your pages, and that the services you offer are the services you actually show up for when someone nearby searches.

Knowing whether it is working

Tracking set up so you can see what people searched, what they clicked, and whether any of it turned into contact. The next decision comes from that, not from a guess.

How it works

Three simple steps.

1

We talk

You tell me about your business: what you do, who you serve, and how you want customers to reach you. No tech knowledge needed.

2

I build it

I set up your listing, build your site, or both, using your info and photos. You review it, and we make one round of changes to get it right.

3

You go live

Everything goes live in your business's name, the listing and the domain both. From there it is yours. After a few weeks we look at what is actually coming in and decide whether anything else is worth doing, including nothing.

How I work

The terms, up front.

Getting started

Where most people start.

One fixed price for the most common starting point. Everything else gets quoted once I know what you actually need.

The Website Launch

$900one-time

Everything your business needs in a professional website: your services, your area, your photos, and easy ways for customers to get in touch.

  • A clean 1-3 page website
  • Mobile-friendly design
  • Your services, service area & photos
  • Contact options that fit your business
  • Your own domain, registered in your name
  • One round of revisions
Talk to AJ One-time build fee. No required monthly plan.

Your domain (your web address) is registered in your name at cost, from about $11 a year and subject to availability. No markup from me, and it stays yours.

Already have a website?

Then the question is a different one. Not whether you need a site, but why the one you have is not bringing in work. I will look at your website, your Google listing and your search visibility, tell you what I found in plain English, and quote only the work that is worth doing.

Have me take a look

Not ready for either? Getting your Google listing right is a much smaller job and it is often the better first step. Tell me what you are working with and I will point you at whichever one you actually need.
